NEW for 2013! Not ready for it all to end, staying one more night? The West Coast Haunters Convention will host a night at the movies. A relaxing way to end the show, gather one last time, watch a few really bad movies, and enjoy a no host bar and movie food!
Apprehensive Films will be holding a screening of thier documentary that hightlights home haunters Saturday at 3:00PM.
Thursday evening orientation -
In addition to our pre show classes, the WCHC is offering an evening convention orientation. Meet vendors, instructors, learn about what to expect from the next three days!
Directly after the orientation the buses will load for the haunt tour of the Nightmare Factory.
Thursday night haunt tour -
This evenings tour and lite dinner are at the Nightmare Factory in Salem Oregon.
This 15,000 square foot haunt located at the Oregon School for the Deaf has been in operation for 25 years. In 2010 the hit TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition visited the Nightmare Factory and redid the entire haunt. Now four years later, you will you see the amazing work the crew and volunteers did for this amazing haunt, but you can now see what the students, staff and volunteers have added to the attraction.
Buses will leave the DoubleTree at 6:00 PM and should arrive at the school by 7:00. Your tour will include the haunt in show mode, then dinner, then after dinner you can explore the haunt, makeup department, prop storage, HQ, costume room and queue. Ed Roberts and Kivo Phillips, along with volunteers at the Nightmare Factory will be available to answer questions and give you insight to how this haunt runs and the benefits it has for the school and students.

Friday night haunt tour -
This year we will tour the Fourhorsemen haunt at Delta Park. Buses will take you to and from the tour. The tour will be a lights off operational tour only, with a lite dinner and drinks in the Four Horsemen event center after we tour the haunt! (drinks are soda and water.)

Saturday Night Charity Ball -
This years Costume Ball takes on a new look and feel.
The party opens at 9:00PM and will go until 2:00AM. There will be a costume contest during the party, with new twist! Light food and a no host bar. New party DJ! Details are being worked out, more to follow.
