Welcome to the 2012 West Coast Haunters Convention, the WCHC.
We are dedicated to the thriving west coast haunting community. The show is open to all haunters, Halloween enthusiasts, store owners, curious onlookers and anyone else.

Learn all of the skills needed to produce professional grade, reusable appliances. This workshop will cover the entire process from the sculpt to the make-up and all of the steps in between. Fx theory, sculpting, mold making, pouring, aplying, and makeup. What to expect; this is a make and take class so all product and tools will be provided to manufacture your creation, and you get to keep what you make! What to bring; if you have an fx kit or gear you prefer to work with please bring it! Otherwise bring an active and twisted imagination!

It is time to make your haunt awesome! Make your scare team truly “SCARY”! Learn about the makeup that is available to you from different companies in the industry and how apply & incorporate them with prosthetics.
Dutch will share many tips and tricks of the trade to help get haunt actors “show ready” in no time. This class is a must for haunted attractions that are tired of rubber masks and ready to take their haunt up a notch by adding makeup effects. This class is for attendees that are looking to learn the fundamentals of production makeup and even for the actor that wants to learn how to do his own makeup.
In this class you will learn basic:
“Scare’r” make-up (zombies, vampires, & skulls)
“Airbrush” function and techniques
“Combo“ Incorporating makeup with prosthetics
